Position: Payroll & Office Administrator

Role Description
We’re seeking a full-time Payroll & Office Administrator to manage daily office operations, assist with payroll and invoicing, and provide general administrative support. This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

AtomTech is a growing controls engineering and automation services company based in Clarkston, Michigan. We support manufacturing and automation projects across North America and beyond, with a team of skilled engineers, project managers, and support staff. We're looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive individual to join our team and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll through Paycor and assist with related reporting and reconciliations
Review and assist with weekly invoicing to clients
Monitor and respond to general inquiries from our info@ email address
Handle daily bank and accounting reconciliations
Assist with onboarding paperwork and maintaining employee records
Support compliance by filing and organizing contracts, NDAs, and vendor documents
Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scheduling, and document formatting
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate documentation
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in office administration, payroll, or accounting support
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Comfortable with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and cloud-based systems
Experience with Paycor, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is a plus
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Must be based near or able to commute to Clarkston, Michigan daily
