AtomTech's Successful Execution of a Complex Body Shop Shutdown with Siemens and Rockwell Integration

AtomTech was engaged by a major automation integrator to support a critical and complex shutdown of a body shop, facing the challenge of integrating Siemens and Rockwell systems. The scope involved handling Siemens controls, which are known for their unique standards, and Rockwell systems within a traditional scope. With a two-week timeline, the task required implementing several dozen cameras to detect Model Cycle Action (MCA), update scheduling, and add model-matching complexity to buffers that were not originally designed for it. Despite the enormity of the task, AtomTech not only delivered within the deadline but also significantly exceeded client expectations. This resulted in future work requests being pulled ahead.
